Colonial Modern Farmhouse

During my Architecture II class, we were asked to design a 1/8-scale model home of our choice in preparation for the 1/4-scale home to be designed the following year in Architecture III. My goal was to create an interesting floor plan while maintaining good flow and a home that captured the effortless beauty of a modern farmhouse.

The curriculum covered foundational principles such as creating effective circulation and flow within residential spaces, appropriate room dimensions, the concept of the kitchen work triangle, and proper fixture placement to support efficient layouts.
